Former WWE Champion Bray Wyatt Passes Away at 36 Due to Heart Complications Windham Rotunda, known by his ring names Bray Wyatt and The Fiend during his tenure with WWE, hailed from a prominent lineage deeply rooted in the realm of professional wrestling.

Bray Wyatt, was a significant figure in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), as announced by Paul “Triple H” Levesque, the Chief Content Officer of the company, on social media. The cause of his demise, as reported by TMZ, was attributed to heart complications.

Paul Levesque conveyed through X (formerly known as Twitter), “Just received a call from WWE Hall of Famer Mike Rotunda who informed us of the tragic news that our WWE family member for life, Windham Rotunda, also known as Bray Wyatt, unexpectedly passed earlier today. Our thoughts are with his family, and we ask that everyone respect their privacy at this time.”

ESPN’s reports indicate that Windham Rotunda, using his real name off-screen, had been absent from WWE events for the past several months, grappling with undisclosed health challenges.

His association with WWE began in 2009, except for a brief gap in 2021 and 2022 when he was surprisingly released.

He made his comeback to WWE in September of the previous year, met with enthusiasm from fans and a captivating enigmatic storyline, accompanied by cryptic vignettes that significantly boosted television viewership.

As reported by TMZ, Bray Wyatt achieved the prestigious distinction of being a three-time world champion in WWE, including a reign as the WWE Champion and two reigns as the Universal Champion. After a hiatus spanning from August 2018 to April 2019, he reappeared with a fresh persona, The Fiend.

Bray Wyatt’s wrestling heritage ran deep. His father, Mike Rotunda, was a distinguished member of the WWE Hall of Fame. His grandfather, Blackjack Mulligan, left an indelible legacy in the professional wrestling realm.

Continuing the family tradition, his uncles, Barry and Kendall Windham, also made their mark in the wrestling industry, underscoring the family’s profound connection to the sport, according to credible sources.
